Global health
Background
Millions of lives could be saved globally through social and behavior change interventions. The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) global health programs have identified behaviors with the most potential to reduce the risk of preventable maternal and child deaths, and with low uptake in USAID’s 25 maternal and child health priority countries.
Portfolio
OES and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have partnered to apply and evaluate evidence-based insights from the behavioral and social sciences to critical development challenges in global health.
